Mailbox Policies
POLICY
The New Albany Country Club Community Association adopted a mailbox and yard light maintenance policy that commenced in 2016. Beginning with the oldest sections of the community and moving towards the newest, the mailboxes were replaced on a four year cycle. After completing the replacements, the cycle restarted for yard light pole & mailbox post painting to ensure uniformity.
Cast Aluminum mailboxes were initially allowed to stay in place, due to cost by homeowners that originally chose them.
One standard mailbox is now used throughout the community and moving forward for any replacements. Should your cast aluminum mailbox need replacement, it will be with the standard community mailbox.
Cost Responsibility

If your mailbox is damaged (e.g. hit by a car or snow plow, etc.), which is the responsibility of the homeowner to remedy, the following information may assist you in repairing your damaged mailbox:
